Author’s abstract: “Using the notion of weakly weighted sharing we prove two uniqueness theorems concerning meromorphic functions sharing a small function with their derivatives, the first of which will improve all the results recently obtained by S. Lin and W. Lin [Kodai Math. J. 29, No. 2, 269–280 (2006; Zbl 1105.30017)] and thus provide a better answer to the questions posed by K.-W. Yu [JIPAM, J. Inequal. Pure Appl. Math. 4, No. 1, Paper No. 21 (2003; Zbl 1021.30030)] in this regard. Also with the aid of a recently introduced sharing notion in [the author and S. Mukherjee, Bull. Math. Soc. Sci. Math. Roum., Nouv. Sér. 50(98), No. 3, 191–206 (2007; Zbl 1164.30022)], known as relaxed weighted sharing, we supplement one recent result of [Lin and Lin, loc. cit.].”
