Hoheisel, Tim; Kanzow, Christian; Schwartz, Alexandra Improved convergence properties of the Lin-Fukushima-regularization method for mathematical programs with complementarity constraints. (English) Zbl 1230.65067 Numer. Algebra Control Optim. 1, No. 1, 49-60 (2011). The authors consider a regularization method for the numerical solution of mathematical programs with complementarity constraints. They improve the convergence results under weaker conditions. Also they present some preliminary numerical results in order to illustrate the theoretical improvements. The paper contains a detailed development of the topic of research in the past two decades and intertwines some approaches. The paper will initiate an incisive vision in the mathematical community.
