Summary: The author presents some results of interpolation theory in the problem-hint-solution format. A number of the results are interesting but the book also contains a certain amount of insignificant material.

Degree of approximation of given function classes by interpolation polynomials; 4. Inequalities for polynomials satisfying interpolatory conditions; 5. Inequalities for polynomials satisfying certain conditions on a large set of points; 6. Extremal properties of rational functions.
