Katrnoška, František; Křížek, Michal; Somer, Lawrence Magic squares and sudoku. (Czech) Zbl 1265.05079 Pokroky Mat. Fyz. Astron. 53, No. 2, 113-124 (2008). The paper is devoted to magic squares and sudoku. The existence of a normal magic square of order \(n\) for \(n\neq 2\) is mentioned. The number of all these normal magic squares is estimated (without proof). Some special cases of magic squares are presented. Moreover, the number of all sudoku puzzles, which have the unique solution, is estimated.
