Pant, B. D.; Chauhan, Sunny; Alam, Qamar Common fixed point theorem in probabilistic metric space. (English) Zbl 1265.54184 Kragujevac J. Math. 35, No. 3, 463-470 (2011). Summary: The notion of weakly compatible maps was introduced by B. Singh and S. Jain [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 301, No. 2, 439–448 (2005; Zbl 1068.54044)] in Menger spaces. We prove a common fixed point theorem for weakly compatible maps in Menger space without appeal to continuity.
