Pantokratoras, Asterios Comment on “Flow and heat transfer in a micropolar fluid past a stretching surface embedded in a non-Darcian porous medium with a uniform free stream”. (English) Zbl 1290.76146 Appl. Math. Comput. 202, No. 2, 895-896 (2008). The article by E. M. Abo-Eldahab and M. A. El Aziz [Appl. Math. Comput. 162, No. 2, 881-899 (2005; Zbl 1290.76144)] is criticized by the author that there are truncated profiles in Figs. 2, 6, 10 and 21. These truncated profiles are not compatible with the boundary layer theory and introduce errors in wall shear stress and wall heat transfer values. For more details see the author’s article “A common error made in investigation of boundary layer flows.” [Appl. Math. Model. 33, No. 1, 413–422 (2009; Zbl 1167.76322)]. Its items are heuristically matched to zbMATH identifiers and may contain data conversion errors. In some cases that data have been complemented/enhanced by data from zbMATH Open. This attempts to reflect the references listed in the original paper as accurately as possible without claiming completeness or a perfect matching.
