(English) Zbl 1336.34123 Proc. Inst. Math. Mech., Natl. Acad. Sci. Azerb. 41, No. 1, 16-24 (2015). The authors study an inverse problem which is related with a second order differential equation with a piecewise continuous weight function and eigenparameter dependent boundary condition. Using the properties of the scattering function which is associated with the problems, the authors prove that the potential function is uniquely determined by the scattering data.
