Moon, Han-Bom Mori’s program for \(\overline{M}_{0,7}\) with symmetric divisors. (English) Zbl 1368.14039 Can. J. Math. 69, No. 3, 613-649 (2017). Mori’s program (or the minimal model program) governs the birational geometry of a variety. When running it for a moduli space, the resulting birational models often have alternate modular meanings. In this paper the author carries out Mori’s program with symmetric divisors for the moduli space of stable rational curves with seven marked points. In particular, he describes all birational models in terms of explicit blowups and blowdowns. He also gives a new modular interpretation for the first flip appearing in this program.
