Nauk 433, No. 2, 158-162 (2010). The author develops the theory of elementary genetic overlapping. His studies inspired the idea of attempting to calculate the structure of the genetic code or to find mathematical transformations that can be used to calculate the genetic code. One approach to the solution of this problem is addressed in this paper. It is offered to extend this concept to three genes belonging to the same DNA strand.The author uses the standard three-letter notation of the 20 amino acids. Under the proved assumption, the author proposes a step-by-step process for searching the genetic code. Reviewer: Fatima T.
