The initial boundary value problem for linear symmetric hyperbolic systems with characteristic boundary of constant multiplicity. (English) Zbl 0853.35067
The existence, uniqueness and regularity of the solution of a linear symmetric hyperbolic system are proved in suitable function spaces, which take into account the loss of regularity in the normal direction to the characteristic boundary. The paper is a reduced version of the author’s preprint of the same title.
