Summary: In this paper, we prove some fixed point theorems which are variants of those proved by J. Achari [Mat. Vesn., N. Ser. 13(28), 255–257 (1976; Zbl 0369.54023)] and Lj. B. Ćirić and N. Jotić [Mat. Vesn. 50, No. 1–2, 1–4 (1998; Zbl 1006.54055)] for types for mappings having non-unique fixed points by employing some hybrid contractive conditions. Our results generalize, extend and improve some previous and corresponding ones in the literature.
