On generalised interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. (English) Zbl 1433.03126

Summary: D. Molodtsov [Comput. Math. Appl. 37, No. 4–5, 19–31 (1999; Zbl 0936.03049)] initiated the concept of fuzzy soft set theory. P. K. Maji et al. [J. Fuzzy Math. 9, No. 3, 589–602 (2001; Zbl 0995.03040); ibid. 12, No. 3, 669–683 (2004; Zbl 1062.03052)] introduced the notion of fuzzy soft sets. By introducing the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy sets into the theory of soft sets, Maji et al. [loc. cit.] proposed the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy soft set theory. The notion of the interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets was first introduced by K. Atanassov and G. Gargov [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 31, No. 3, 343–349 (1989; Zbl 0674.03017)]. It is characterized by an interval valued membership degree and an interval valued non-membership degree. Y. Jiang et al. [Comput. Math. Appl. 60, No. 3, 906–918 (2010; Zbl 1201.03047); corrigendum ibid. 61, No. 10, 3179 (2011; Zbl 1222.03058)] introduced the concept of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets.
