In the framework of nearly quasi-Einstein manifolds (as defined in U. C. De and A. K. Gazi [Novi Sad J. Math. 38, 115–121 (2008; Zbl 1274.53066)]), the authors study certain properties regarding conformal flatness, cyclicity of Ricci tensor, or the property of having nearly quasi-constant curvature.
