Abramov, A. A. Calculation of macroscopic parameters in the Monte Carlo method of direct statistical modeling. (English. Russian original) Zbl 0536.76074 Sov. In the present article it is shown that it is advisable to calculate the macroscopic parameters by averaging the corresponding microscopic characteristics along the molecular trajectories intersecting the cell under consideration [L. D. Landau and E. M. Lifshitz, Statistical physics, Vol. 2, 3rd edition, Pergamon Press, Oxford (1980)]. This calculation method has made it possible to improve considerably the fulfillment of the conservation laws for the macroscopic fluxes. As an illustration, we shall consider a one-dimensional problem of heat transfer.
