Lachowicz, Mirosław; Ytrehus, Tor Solution of Navier-Stokes equations in the case of evaporation. (English) Zbl 0734.76017 Bull. Pol. Acad. Sci., Tech. Sci. 37, No. 7-12, 453-458 (1989). Summary: The steady, one-dimensional and nonlinear Navier-Stokes description of the process of evaporation is studied. For Mach numbers at infinity which are less than unity, a solution is found that implies a monotonous expanding flow from the interphase surface to downstream equilibrium.
