Kozlov, V. V. On a problem for a piston. (Russian) Zbl 1092.82033 Dokl. Akad. Nauk, Ross. Akad. Nauk 403, No. 6, 752-755 (2005). Evolution of motion of dynamical systems is investigated. The dynamical system presents either an ideal gas inside a cylindrical vessel and a moving piston inside or a piston on the spring, which compresses an ideal gas. An ideal gas is described by the classical Liouville equation. The asymptotic behavior is examined and phase diagrams are presented.
