Zhang, Yufeng; Feng, Binlu; Wang, Kai The comparison between Liu Hui’s mathematical theory and Euclid’s. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 0905.01003 J. Luoyang Univ. 11, No. 2, 22-25 (1996). This paper duplicates many previous publications on the question of the comparison between the Chinese Nine chapters and Euclid’s Elements but in a very general way, leading to an identification of Chinese logistic with Greek deductive geometry so as to reveal China’s glorious mathematical past, viewed as superior or at least identical to that of the Westerners.
