Applying decision-making approaches to health risk-taking behaviors: Progress and remaining challenges. (English) Zbl 0942.90002

This paper is a critical survey of the application of basic decision theory models to actual risk taking behavior in the medical domain. The authors main point is that the basic decision theory models ignore context which can be very important in actual applications.
