Sei \(M\) eine glatte Hilbert-Mannigfaltigkeit mit Riemannscher Metrik \((\cdot,\cdot)\), so daß \(M\) bezüglich der induzierten Metrik vollständig ist. Sei außerdem \(V\) eine glatte reellwertige Funktion auf \(M\), die nach unten beschränkt ist. Die totale Energie \(H\colon T(M)\to R\) wird definiert durch \(H(p,v) = \frac12 (v,v) +V(p)\). Die natürliche symplektische 2-Form auf \(T^*(M)\) definiert dann zusammen mit dem Differential von \(H\) ein Vektorfeld \(Z\) auf \(T(M)\) (Hamilton-Vektorfeld). Unter den gegebenen Voraussetzungen beweist der Verf., daß sich die Integralkurven von \(Z\) auf ganz \(R\) definieren lassen, d.h., der Fluß von \(Z\) ist auf ganz \(T(M)\times R\) definiert.
