Mastorakis, Nikos E. A multi-step factorization scheme for a specific class of \(m-D\) polynomials. (English) Zbl 0947.93023 Control Cybern. 26, No. 4, 659-663 (1997). The author considers a multivariable polynomial factorization of the form of \[ f(z_1,\dots, z_m)= [a(z_1,\dots, z_k)+ b(z_{k+1},\dots, z_m)]\times [c(z_1,\dots, z_k)+ d(z_{k+1}, \dots, z_m)]. \] Unfortunately, he does not discuss its possible applications. He proposes an algorithm for performing such a factorization.
