Neelakanta, Perambur S.; Lordan, Richard; Barwick, John PC-based computation of the magnetic field above the earth’s surface caused by a buried three-phase high-voltage power-line. (English) Zbl 0733.65081 Comput. Electr. Eng. 17, No. 1, 1-9 (1991). The authors consider the problem of the magnetic field above the earth’s surface caused by buried power lines. They provide a flowchart for a program which permits the use of personal computers (the method of windows) for a boundary element analysis. A comparison is given between experimental and theoretical results for a number of problems and the agreement appears to be satisfactory.
