Darvas, György Invariance, identity, equivalence. (English) Zbl 1164.00300 Symmetry Cult. Sci. 17, No. 1-2, 175-192 (2006). Summary: The paper deals with the relations of the above concepts, gives examples of their applications in physics, their interpretations in the formulation of physical invariance principles, then proposes a program to treat the consequences in the equations of the fundamental physical laws. The program includes - among others - to treat gravitational and inertial masses as separate quantities in physical equations, which changes those form; to formulate an equivalence principle for electric charges; and to define a property called “isotopic field-charge spin”.
