Sopra una relazione fra certe forme differenziali quadratiche e le algebre commutative. (Italian) JFM 48.0850.01

L. Bianchi hat eine Beziehung aufgestellt zwischen den quadratischen Differentialformen mit der Krümmung Null und konstanten Christoffelschen Symbolen und den Systemen komplexer Zahlen mit mehreren Einheiten.
Verf. studiert den von B. nicht untersuchten Ausnahmefall, wo eine gewisse charakteristische Determinante verschwindet. Die Betrachtung der degenerierten kommutativen Zahlsysteme (d. h. derjenigen ohne Haupteinheiten) gestattet alle zugehörigen quadratischen Formen zu finden. Bestimmung aller Typen von \(ds^2\) in der Ebene und dem Raume Euklids, welche die fragliche Eigenschaft haben, und aus welchen die übrigen durch (ganze) lineare Transformation mit reellen oder komplexen Koeffizienten hervorgehen.
