Buckling and stability of polymeric composite beams under stochastic excitation. (English) Zbl 0767.73029

An initially bent beam of a composite viscoelastic orthotropic material is considered. The analysis of the beam deformation compressed by a longitudinal force in the form of a stationary random process was carried out by the analytical method and the method of the statistical simulation. Stability and buckling of a polymeric composite beam is considered.
