Hakopian, Hakop; Jetter, Kurt; Zimmermann, Georg Vandermonde matrices for intersection points of curves. (English) Zbl 1176.41003 Jaen J. Approx. 1, No. 1, 67-81 (2009). Multivariate interpolation theorems are discussed from the point of view of extensions of Cayley-Bacharach type results. The proof requires essentially Max Noether’s basis theorem for finitely generated polynomial ideals and the representation of elements of ideals, and certain rank properties of Vandermonde matrices.
