Modelling of stationary oscillations and dissipative heating of thin-wall non-elastic elements containing piezoactive layers. (Russian, English) Zbl 1107.74025

Prikl. Mekh., Kiev 40, No. 5, 80-91 (2004); translation in Int. Appl. Mech. 40, No. 5, 546-556 (2004).
Using geometrically nonlinear theory and Kirchhoff-Love hypotheses, the authors study a coupled thermoelectrodynamics of thin-walled multilayer elements. For the particular case of harmonic loading, the authors formulate an approximate problem involving complex moduli for the description of cyclic properties of the material. They examine the main features of the stress-strain state and heating due to vibration.
