Abdullaev, F. M. Analysis of a technological process character for the purpose of selecting methods to choose the direction of automation. (English. Russian original) Zbl 0543.90054 Sov. Autom. Control 16, No. 5, 64-67 (1983); translation from Avtomatika 1983, No. 5, 66-70 (1983). Summary: A problem on a formalized choice of the direction for the automation of technological processes is posed on the basis of a study of the nonstationarity of the plant model in order to determine a rational volume of investment in automation. A method is suggested, based on the comparison of various identically equivalent (in inputs) samplings of full duties with incorporation of the output parameter values of the process into each of the samplings, using pattern recognition theory.
