Iwiński, Tadeusz B. Rough orders and rough concepts. (English) Zbl 0676.06013 Bull. Pol. Acad. Sci., Math. 36, No. 3-4, 187-192 (1988). Summary: The paper presents a generalized approach to the notion of roughness. The concept of rough order is defined and analyzed in terms of orders, lattices and pre-closures (generalized approximation operators). It is shown that Pawlak’s theory of rough sets can be regarded as a special case of the theory of rough orders and that Wille’s analysis of conceptual contexts can be “embedded” in the rough order scheme so that a notion of rough concept can be introduced and investigated.
