Summary: An algorithm for the numerical solution of the three-dimensional problem on the perturbation of a given initial electrostatic field is presented, caused by the presence of an ideally conducting body, with its possible covering (complete or partial) by a thin layer of a dielectric. The method of solution consists in a reduction of the Dirichlet boundary value problem to a corresponding boundary integral equation (representation of the solution by the double-layer potential) and a reduction to a system of linear algebraic equations for determination of the potential density. For the entire collection see [Zbl 0776.00002].
