François-Lavet, V.; Henrotte, F.; Stainier, L.; Noels, L.; Geuzaine, C. An energy-based variational model of ferromagnetic hysteresis for finite element computations. (English) Zbl 1267.78003 J. Comput. Appl. Math. 246, 243-250 (2013). The main purpose of this paper is to propose a vectorial hysteresis model with a well-defined relation with the fundamental principles of thermodynamics and with wide applicability. It is argued in the paper that the model is numerically efficient and can be easily incorporated into existing finite element codes.
