A perturbative approach to scattering problems with short and long range potentials. (English) Zbl 0646.35060

Summary: A perturbative approach to the solution of Schrödinger equation proposed recently by Sasakawa and Sawada is studied for potentials containing a long range Coulomb tail. The rate of convergence is studied for nuclear as well as for atomic potentials.
