Methods of synthesis of measuring instruments in a measuring-computing complex. (Russian) Zbl 0619.94005

The author gives a survey of mathematical results on the problem of synthesis of optimal measuring units working as parts of a measuring and computing complex. The measuring process is characterized by linear operators in Euclidean space subject to perturbations. The main part of the problem consists in the computer-aided reduction (interpretation) of measurement results with given restrictions of the noise level and other parameters. The paper contains numerous mathematical results. An evaluation of the ultimate possibilities of resolution is given for finite-dimensional models.
