A class of generalized mid-point algorithms for the Gurson-Tvergaard material model. (English) Zbl 0853.73020

The Gurson-Tvergaard material model which includes explicit softening processes due e.g. microvoid nucleation and growth, is the object of the study. The model has been incorporated into the ABAQUS finite element program.
