The author develops a computational procedure based on well-known doublet lattice method to study the unsteady longitudinal aerodynamic stability of a subsonic aircraft. Unsteady behaviour of the aircraft is analyzed also theoretically. The developed software DERIV is tested on HA21A (canard wing) for steady flows, and on HA75H (typical transport plane wing) for unsteady flow. Comparison of the obtained results with the existing NASTRAN results for the same problem is satisfactory, so that the proposed procedure can be accepted as valid one.For the entire collection see [Zbl 0884.00052].
