Biq. 23, No. 1, 98-105 (2006). Summary: A class of constrained optimization problems with quadratic objective function and equality constraints is studied. It is assumed that the constraints are feasible and regular. In the cases that the objective function is positive definite or positive semidefinite, the necessary and sufficient conditions to characterize global optimal solutions are obtained.
