Summary: An approximated solution for the non-stationary problem of heat conductivity in a transversally isotropic plate with mixed boundary conditions of heat exchange is presented. An algorithm on the basis of recurrent neural networks is applied. For research of a temperature field in a thin plate the equations are obtained by a method of approximation of temperature involving Legendre’s polynomials. In this investigation the linear distribution of temperature over the plate thickness and the convective heat exchange with external medium by the Newton law are assumed. Distribution of temperature in time, influence of the anisotropy parameters of the plate material are investigated. The analysis of numerical results is presented.
