Drăganu, Mircea Solution by Fourier transform of the Boltzmann equation for one-velocity neutron transport in a slab with linear anisotropic scattering. (English) Zbl 0684.76091 Prepr., “Babeș-Bolyai” Univ., Fac. Math. Phys., Res. Semin. 1988, No. 8, 87-149 (1988). Previous results (a Fourier transform method for solving one-dimensional Boltzmann transport equation for monoenergetic neutrons in an infinite slab of finite thickness with isotropic scattering law, imbedded in a finite isotropically scattering medium) was extended to the same problem but supposing that the neutron transport occurs with linear anisotropic scattering law. The solution of the problem was reduced to the solving of a system of two coupled linear integral equations with respect to the Fourier transformed moments. The cosinus and sinus convolution formulas are deduced in the appendix.
