Algebraic approximation of smooth optimal cyclic control problems. (English) Zbl 0659.49017

From the conclusion: “In this paper the algebraic approximation of smooth cyclic control problems with continuously differentiable optimal solutions has been considered... sufficient conditions have been given for a weak convergence of approximate solutions and the convergence rate has been estimated. It has been shown that this convergence rate is much better than for a non-smooth problem”. This is a continuation of previous research by the author.
