The dynamics of thin films. II: Applications. (English) Zbl 0917.76016

Using the general theory of the dynamics of thin films (see the foregoing entry), the authors study planar films, spherical bubbles, cylinders, and catenoids. The linear and nonlinear stability of films is discussed. There are examples of numerical solutions of the evolution equations derived in part I.
