The author deals with independent assortment of alleles between two loci. Let T(p,q) be the average time until joint fixation of mutant alleles A’ and B’ under continued mutation pressure, given that the initial frequencies of A’ and B’ are p and q, respectively. For several values of parameters the partial differential equation for T(p,q) is numerically solved.
