Acceleration covariance in hydromagnetic dusty turbulence in the presence of a very strong uniform magnetic field. (English) Zbl 0678.76036

Summary: We have discussed the effect of a uniform very strong magnetic field on the acceleration covariance in MHD turbulence. The expression for acceleration covariance has been obtained in terms of defining scalars. For simplicity we have assumed that the imposed magnetic field is strong enough so that the nonlinear coupling terms and the reactions from the turbulence to be negligible. It has been shown that the Coriolis force has positive contribution for a critical value of the kinematic viscosity. In the end the expression for acceleration covariance is obtained for the dusty MHD turbulence.
