Pupykina, T. A. Numerical calculation of non-viscous MHD-flow around bodies of complex form. (Russian) Zbl 0618.76122 Chislennye Metody Mekh. Sploshnoj Sredy 16, No. 4, 96-110 (1985). The problem consists in magnetohydrodynamical flow of a leading non- compressible fluid around a rotation body. An internal conductive source generates the electromagnetic volume force. The problem is solved in axisymmetrical formulation. The equations of motion are formulated in terms of the rotation-function of flow and are numerically solved on a finite-difference net together with the equations of electric and magnetic potentials. Averaging with respect to time and a special form of approximations lead to the stationary solution. The results of numerical calculations are compared to the well-known solution of a MHD-flow around a layer in linear approximation.
