Lovász, László The ”little geometer” and the difficulty of computing the volume. (English) Zbl 1240.52001 Ann. Univ. Sci. Budap. Rolando Eötvös, Sect. Math. 52, 31-36 (2009). From the introduction: I met Gyuri Elekes in the math club of the Mihály Fazekas High School (a high school with a special program for mathematically talented students) some 47 years ago. He was a year younger, and excelled in solving geometry problems by particularly simple, elegant arguments. We (the old sophomores) called him among ourselves the “little geometer”. In this paper I would like to describe one of his results, which turned a “little geometer” into a “great geometer”.
