AMIGO swMATH ID: 2425 Software Authors: J. A. Martínez, L. G. Casado, I. García, B. Tóth Description: AMIGO: Advanced multidimensional interval analysis global optimization algorithm AMIGO is an algorithm for solving smooth global optimization problems over n-dimensional boxes. It is mainly an extension of an algorithm developed by L. G. Casado, J. A. Martínez, I. García and Ya. D. Sergeyev [J. Glob. Optim. 25, No. 4, 345–362 (2003; Zbl 1046.90060)]. AMIGO differs from standard interval methods for solving this class of problems by a refined use of first-order information. 40 numerical tests and comparisons show the effectiveness of this refinement Homepage: http://rd.springer.com/chapter/10.1007%2F978-1-4613-0251-3_17 Keywords: numerical examples; AMIGO; algorithm; smooth global optimization Related Software: INTOPT_90; PROFIL/BIAS; C-XSC; C-XSC 2.0 Cited in: 10 Publications Standard Articles 1 Publication describing the Software, including 1 Publication in zbMATH Year AMIGO: Advanced multidimensional interval analysis global optimization algorithm.
