FDEXTR 2.1: A new version of a program for the finitedifference solution of the coupledchannel Schrodinger equation using the Richardson extrapolation. A FORTRAN77 program is presented which solves the SturmLiouville problem for a system of coupled secondorder differential equations by the finite difference method of the second order using the iterative Richardson extrapolation of the difference eigensolutions on a sequence of doubly condensed meshes. The same extrapolational procedure and error estimations are applied to the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. Zerovalued (Dirichlet) or zerogradient (Neumann) boundary conditions are considered.
