FluxAnalyzer swMATH ID: 35750 Software Authors: Klamt, S.; Stelling, J.; Ginkel, M.; Gilles, E.D. Description: Fluxanalyzer: A Graphical Interface for Stoichiometric and Quantitative Analysis of Metabolic Networks. Metabolic Flux Analysis has turned out to be a powerful approach for studying and engineering metabolic networks. Nevertheless, there seems to be a lack of a comprehensive software platform where all computational routines for metabolite balancing and stoichiometric analysis can be used in a convenient way. Therefore, the FluxAnalyzer, a programming package for MATLAB, was developed. The interactive software allows a menu-driven use of various procedures within a graphical user interface, where the metabolic networks under investigation and the results of calculations are visualized in flux maps. Arbitrary networks can be defined symbolically. The FluxAnalyzer is used in current projects at our institute and its application for flux analysis of cell cultures in an industrial process is planned Homepage: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1474667017342064 Dependencies: Matlab Related Software: SINGULAR; YANA; efmtool; BiGG; Metatool; JAMA; TNT; TiGERS; toric.lib; Sostools; polymake; CoCoA Cited in: 4 Publications all top 5 Cited by 13 Authors 2 Gatermann, Karin 1 Androulakis, Ioannis P. 1 Berthiaume, Francois 1 Boley, Daniel L. 1 Eiswirth, Markus 1 Ierapetritou, Marianthi G. 1 Jevremović, Dimitrije 1 Orman, Mehmet A. 1 Sensse, Anke 1 Sosa, Carlos P. 1 Srienc, Friedrich 1 Trinh, Cong T. 1 Wolfrum, Matthias Cited in 4 Serials 1 Advances in Applied Mathematics 1 Parallel Computing 1 Journal of Symbolic Computation 1 Journal of Theoretical Biology all top 5 Cited in 11 Fields 4 Biology and other natural sciences (92-XX) 2 Combinatorics (05-XX) 2 Numerical analysis (65-XX) 1 Field theory and polynomials (12-XX) 1 Commutative algebra (13-XX) 1 Algebraic geometry (14-XX) 1 Real functions (26-XX) 1 Ordinary differential equations (34-XX) 1 Dynamical systems and ergodic theory (37-XX) 1 Computer science (68-XX) 1 Classical thermodynamics, heat transfer (80-XX) Citations by Year
